Supporting the BBC's DIY SOS team in Manchester

It’s been by far the biggest project they’ve undertaken so far & has even had Royal support in the shape of Princes William & Harry, who helped out on site. It’s been by far the biggest project they’ve undertaken so far & has even had Royal support in the shape of Princes William & Harry, who helped out on site.

This Autumn the DIY SOS team transformed a derelict street in Manchester, with the aim of creating a Veteran’s Village, and Muraspec were delighted to be able to help out.

Muraspec’s bestseller Canton was chosen for the bedroom of John Borge, who served in Afghanistan, and now suffers from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The muted blue colour helped to create a calm, relaxing sanctuary for John, whose PTSD leaves him unable to sleep.

Muraspec's Kent-based factory team rose to the challenge of getting the product made and dispatched in time to meet the show's tight filming schedule, with the wallcovering arriving on site less than 5 working days after the colour was chosen!

For several years now Muraspec has supported the amazing work the BBC DIY SOS team do, providing wallcoverings and Impressions Panels to various projects throughout the UK.
